The Mets and Braves were scheduled to face each other in Atlanta in a series with huge implications for their postseason futures but Hurricane Helene has forced MLB to postpone the games and reschedule them for Monday, assuming they are needed to determine playoff eligibility. Rich Davis is furious that the powers that be couldn’t have anticipated this weather event and been more proactive in their efforts to make sure these games get played in a timely manner.
“This has been handled so poorly by the Braves and Major League Baseball. Yo, this is not 1920! We have state of the art weather equipment that reads these things; sonars and radars! They knew a week ago this was happening.” -@richdavis
